The game and the site

Carve the Fate is a free browser game created by Jamie Bartlett. We may change, update or remove features, content or the whole service at any time, including resetting or retiring unlocks and leaderboards between versions.

Your use

You may play the game for personal, non-commercial use. Please do not: attempt to disrupt the service or the PvP servers; use automated tools to flood or scrape the game's APIs; tamper with other players' results or the daily leaderboard; or copy, redistribute or sell the game's code, art or audio.

Ownership

The game, its design, code, text and artwork belong to its creator. Third-party music and sound are used under their respective licences and are credited on the about page and in the game's Credits screen. Names of third-party games mentioned on this site are used only to describe inspiration and belong to their owners.

Accounts

An account is optional and is provided by the Zonto platform; its own terms and privacy policy apply to it. Progress stored only in your browser can be lost if you clear your browser data, and we are not responsible for that loss.

Advertising and third-party services

The web version shows third-party advertising and may link to other websites. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content or practices. See the privacy policy.

No warranty

The game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or the game. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
