Privacy policy

What we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Last updated: 22 October 2026

Zonto Games ("we", "us") is the controller of the personal data described here. Write to us at 14 Ashdown Close, Chandlers Ford, SO53 5QF, United Kingdom, or email [email protected].

What we collect

  • Account data: email address, gamertag, password (stored hashed) or your Google sign-in identifier, and your profile.
  • Play data: your library, game progress and saves, achievements, leaderboard scores, friends and messages.
  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser, device and launcher version, kept in server logs to run and secure the service.

We do not take payments and we do not run analytics.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

We use account and play data to provide the service you asked for (contract). We use server logs to keep Zonto secure and working (legitimate interests). We use advertising cookies only if you consent, and you can withdraw consent at any time.

Cookies and advertising

Necessary cookies keep you signed in. With your permission we also use advertising cookies. See the cookie policy for details and how to change your choice.

Where advertising is enabled, we use Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, and learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. We show no ads inside the Zonto launcher.

Who we share data with

We use service providers to run Zonto: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Google Cloud Storage (game builds and images), Google (optional sign-in and, if you consent, advertising). They may only use your data to provide their service to us. We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep account and play data while your account is open. You can delete your account from your account settings, which removes your personal data, apart from anything we must keep by law.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to withdraw consent, by emailing [email protected]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Children

Zonto is not directed at children under 13, and you must be at least 13 to create an account. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal data, email us and we will delete it.

International transfers

Some providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or standard contractual clauses.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above.
